This kitchen remodel started with an outdated small close-in cooking space. Catalyst Construction gutted the existing kitchen removing a massive fireplace in order to join the kitchen area and dining room into one communal area / the great room.
Where you see the island range hood now above the stove used to be a fireplace and chimney. The black honed quartz counters top the cabinetry throughout this kitchen.
The period style cabinets are natural stained alder with shaker doors and drawer fronts, custom built by our preferred cabinet builder. Along the back wall the custom built floating shelves are accented by white subway tile.
